Glen Harding

Glen Harding
has worked in both the public and private sector across several areas, including Arboriculture, Silviculture and Parkland Management. He began work as a tree surgeon, before progressing into contract management.

As his career developed, he moved into a local authority role at the London Borough of Richmond where he initially worked as Arboricultural Officer and then as the Arboricultural Manager – a role which meant that he had ultimate responsibility for all matters relating to trees. This local authority role allowed him to develop a detailed understanding of the planning system, something which has since been invaluable.

After setting up GHA Trees in 2005, Glen has developed skills and knowledge in the commercial forestry sector and now has vast experience in this area, as well as an MSc from the University of Bangor. Glen has worked for several wooded estates in the south east of England, providing advice on all matters relating to trees and woodlands.
